Elmwood Park, offers soccer, baseball and softball fields along with a swimming pool, basketball and tennis courts and playground equipment. Strohbehn Park, a favorite of residents and wildlife, combines the solitude of Blackhawk Creek with undeveloped woodlands.

Both parks compliment each other and have something to offer everyone.

All activities and facilities are offered on a non-discriminatory basis.

The Reinbeck Park Board sponsors activities year-round for students kindergarten through sixth grade.  Each season brings an activity.  The goals of these programs is to have loads of fun, teach kids the fundamentals and they also get some exercise along the way!  Flag Football, Basketball, and Baseball (which includes softball, and t-ball) with special arts and crafts activities are sponsored directly by the Park Board. 

In the fall, soccer is sponsored through the Cedar Valley Youth Soccer Association.  A padded football league for 5th and 6th grade boys is sponsored through the Youth Sports Foundation.  Volunteers coordinate these programs.
